Ideally you should celebrate Confirmation in your own Church; however, since we are all working together you can choose the church and time that best suits you.

            A copy of the Candidate’s (youth to be Confirmed) Baptismal Certificate must be provided (if not Baptized at one of our three parishes). If you do not have a copy, please call the Parish of Baptism and ask them to fax/email a copy to the office in Strathroy.   
            The Confirmation programme focuses on two areas of formation for our candidates: their spiritual formation and catechetical formation.

The “Spiritual Formation” will take place through their attendance and involvement at the weekend Liturgies (Mass). Each Candidate is required to be at one of our weekend masses each and every week (Other arrangements can be discussed with Fr. Thom if you find yourself in “unusual” circumstances).

The “Catechetical Formation” will take place in the Parish Centre on the dates found below.

            A $50.00 fee is due at the start of the 7 gatherings. This will help defray food and material costs of the programme, as well as the retreat day with NET Ministries. A meal will be provided at the beginning of each gathering.

Please inform me if you require assistance with transportation arrangements for the gatherings.

Finally, please know that I am available to you for any questions, concerns or issues that may come up during this period of preparation for our youth.  I am but a phone call away!
