Truth, Reconciliation and Healing: Speaker Series and Gatherings
Beginning September 8, the Springbank Catholic Family of Parishes will be hosting gatherings to discuss the process of reconciliation and healing with Indigenous communities. Each week will cover a different topic and the speakers will come from both Indigenous and settler communities. These gatherings will take place in the Parish Hall at St. George's parish and online, beginning at 7:00 p.m. and concluding by 9:00 p.m. Registration will be required, whether you would like to attend these talks in person or virtually. What’s the Scoop on Having a Personal Relationship with Jesus? The fourth and final What’s the Scoop? event will take place Thursday, August 19th, from 7:30pm until 9:00pm. This event will combine live praise and worship music with guest band Found Together; and opportunity to hear from the Bishop of the Diocese of London, Most Rev. Ronald Fabbro CSB, about his call to the priesthood and personal relationship with Jesus. Young people (high school aged) and young adults, are invited to join the conversation. As a tribute to the Diocese's annual summer camp (CCLC) that will not take place in-person this year, participants are encouraged to join the conversation with an ice cream (sundae) in hand!
