We stand before You, Holy Spirit,
as we gather together in Your name.
With You alone to guide us,
make Yourself at home in our hearts;
Teach us the way we must go
and how we are to pursue it.
We are weak and sinful;
do not let us promote disorder.
Do not let ignorance lead us down the wrong path
nor partiality influence our actions.
Let us find in You our unity
so that we may journey together to eternal life
and not stray from the way of truth and what is right.
All this we ask of You,
who are at work in every place and time,
in the communion of the Father and the Son,
forever and ever.
Amen.
The Synod is all about listening, and we want to hear from you! We will be having listening sessions in the Parish halls of all our church sites following Mass at least once during this process. COVID-19 protocols will be adheared to. You are invited to attend and to lend your voice to what will be submitted to the Diocese of London, the CCCB, and eventually on to the Vatican. One small voice can make a difference, several small voices can make a big difference. Every piece of information will be gathered and sent on.
The Listening Sessions will be approximately 1.5 hours long, and will have a small group format. At each table, there will be a scribe, taking down what you say. There will be no debate, no defending or combativeness, only listening, to you.
If you are unable to attend a listening session, but would like to participate, please indicate so on the registration form. There will still be ways for you to be heard.
Thank you for considering this. Once you have registered, please download and read the Participants Guide below.
